Paige and her Dad, Bill have been making candles together since Paige was three years old. It started out as a hobby, making candles together for friends and family as gifts for Holidays and birthdays. After a few years people started asking for Paige and Bill to make more candles, so they in turn could give them as gifts or to keep and enjoy.

Before long it was a small business on the side. Unfortunately March 3rd, 2021, Miranda (Paige’s Mom, Bill’s Wife) woke up with facial drooping and loss of feeling in her right hand and arm. Testing revealed that she had several ‘micro strokes’ in her sleep, caused by Moya Moya. Moya Moya is a degenerative disease that affects the blood vessels of the head and neck, causing them to shrink. The next night she had a few more micro strokes causing speech aphasia and more right side paralysis in her arm and leg.
Miranda worked hard on physical therapy to get better. She was later scheduled for surgery August 1st, 2021, after she mostly recovered.
The surgery went well except for the strokes she had during the bypass surgery in her brain. It was to restore blood flow to the back of the left side of her brain. Miranda later had several massive strokes when her blood pressure got too low, causing too much damage. She was unable to recover from them and passed away in hospice, October 19th, 2021.

Bill once again started making candles with Paige, in an effort to help both of them through their grief together. This time, with a goal of making candles into a business for Paige to own fully, once she turns 18.
